On February 23-25, HBMC experts organized special training sessions with the staff of five of the civil society organizations which were selected to be part of the project for empowering civil society in promoting sustainable rail transport in Albania.
Through these sessions conducted in compliance with anti-COVID measures, it became possible for HBMC staff to create a clear overview of the technical knowledge of the selected organizations and their capacity to take on the tasks assigned by the project.
On February 23, a training session was held with the staff of two organizations (AIPA and CDCS Durrës) which were selected to implement the information / awareness campaign in educational institutions.
The next training was conducted with ALCDS and AËEN staff who are designated to conduct an information / awareness campaign with local government structures to cover the part of residents and vulnerable groups.
The last training took place on February 25 with representatives of the National Youth Congress (NYC) selected to conduct information / awareness raising with businesses and public institutions identified along the Durrës-Tirana-Rinas railway corridor.
During these trainings, HBMC experts presented the project, technical data and expected results.
