Job description: Contract law lawyer
- Continuously monitors the freight market and the extent of its absorption by rail transport.
- Participates in the drafting of the annual transport plan for the following year of the Freight Business Unit.
- Participates in the drafting of medium-term and long-term programs in freight transport, in accordance with the developments of the market economy and railway infrastructure.
- Makes monthly and progressive statistical records for transport volumes, realized revenues and other indicators. Within the 4th of each month.
- Records and analyzes for each month the level of revenues and work volumes realized from freight transport.
- Drafts reports on the implementation of tasks for the month and for the progressive period of the reporting year.
- Participates in the preparation of medium-term transport programs taking into account the development of the market economy and railway infrastructure.
- Participates in the drafting of domestic and international railway transport tariffs and submits them for approval to the Freight Business Unit.
- Participates in the drafting of various rules and instructions that ensure the smooth running of work during the transport and processing of goods at railway stations.
- Participates in the drafting of joint commercial-tariff rules and agreements with foreign railways.
- Argues and proposes for approval the use of special tariffs for specific clients.
- Studies and systematically identifies tariff levels applied by other operators (automotive, etc.) in the freight transport market.
- Organizes and records, issues and processes freight transport indicators.
- Cooperates with the Legal Department of the Company (NJSHMI) for the drafting of contracts with clients and/or partners, as well as for the drafting of the Contract for the Train/km Tariff with Nj.B.M.I.H. Also manages contracts with clients and prepares reports regarding the volumes achieved, contract progress, penalties that may arise.
- Is subordinate and responsible for the implementation of duties to the Head of the Marketing Department of NjBM.
- Performs other duties as needed and by order of the NjBM Directorate.
Job requirements:
- University degree in Law
- Communication and organizational skills
- Good interpersonal skills to work effectively
- Results-oriented work style, with the ability to manage a variety of tasks and meet deadlines, with minimal supervision
- Computer skills
