An underpass between the railway and the national road axis Librazhd-Peshkopi, built around the ‘60s very narrow and low was already out of order as only small vehicles could pass through it. The intervention in this part was necessary for the passage of all types of vehicles in this national axis, which also serves to connect many villages of the Municipality of Librazhd.
Together with the Director of ARRSH Afrim Qendro, the Deputy of the Socialist Party Taulant Balla and the Mayor of Librazhd Kastriot Gurra inspected the works in this other construction site in Librazhd.
This intervention will make possible the passage of any type of vehicle in the underpass with the railway which for 40 years hindered the movement of heavy tonnage vehicles.
For years this investment was necessary and was finally made possible by ARRSH.
This ARRSH investment also affects the improvement of the Durrës-Pogradec railway network.
Together with the General Director of ARRSH Afrim Qendro we made public two other very important projects for the Region of Elbasan.
ARRSH in cooperation with the Ministry of Infrastructure & amp; Energjisë and with Cooperazione Italiana are doing almost two very important projects which are the By-Pass of Elbasan which with the completion of the Tirana-Elbasan road, avoids traffic from the city, and the other project the expansion of the Elbasan-Qukës axis.
Also, an important news is the fact that for the first time in many years, all road maintenance contracts are being signed on time, making it possible for this year the planning and taking measures to start in time to avoid problems with roads when winter bring snow and frost.
The problems encountered in the past years with road blockages will now be minimized.
