Hekurudha Shqiptare (“ALBANIAN RAILWAYS” OR “HSH”) opens bid for the feasibility study for the construction of Albania- Kosovo railway line with a length of about 130 km.
The expected term for this study is 14 months, of which 2 months for the Initial Phase and 12 months for the preparation of the Study.
The construction of Albania- Kosovo railway line (Durres – Pristina) is of a special importance for Albania and Kosovo as it will enable a rapid development of railway transport of passengers and goods as well will meet the transport needs of the countries of the Western Balkans and beyond including Montenegro, North Macedonia , Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria and other countries that are also connected to Rail Corridor X and Rail Corridor IV
